Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actor best recognized for her role in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te enamores. Her other talents include being a successful model and dancer. Her home is in Montreal however, she grew up studying in Texas. Her love of dance has been a part of her since childhood. She's been learning different dance styles from the time she was a child. In her teens, she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit by her appearance on Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. Toubia made her acting debut in the year 2010, playing receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. She starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action film. The performance of Toubia as Shadowhunter earned her recognition at her fellow actors at the Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
