Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of the singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew as a child in a household of musicians. The album sold three million copies in its initial album's first year of release in the US as well as make 25 million copies worldwide, earning her the first of her six Grammys. The Whitney 1987 record, featuring The album's tracks, such as Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as hits, helped build upon the success she had achieved. But the 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot as one of the most successful musicians ever.
