Eva Mendes was born in America and is an American actor, model and singer. A talent agent discovered her talent and urged her to go on a path as a model or actor. After much deliberation she decided to quit the college to pursue a career as entertainer. Her disappointment was with her performance in the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. Her acting was honed through appearances in low-budget film productions. She persevered and proved fruitful. Her name was praised and she received positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began.
